All-Valley Football Team

Jermaine Lewis of Antelope Valley High is featured on The Times’ 1995 All-Valley football team. The senior running back broke a 20-year-old single-season school record by rushing for 2,511 years to earn player-of-the-year honors. Lewis, a three-time All-Valley choice, rushed for a school-record 5,490 yards in his high school career.
Other award winners include Symlar’s Durell Price, back of the year for the second consecutive year, and Gabe Crecion of Chaminade, the lineman of the year.
Hart’s Mike Herrington earned coach-of-the-year honors.
