Boat Parade Winners to Receive Trophies

Winners of the 1995 Christmas Boat Parade, sponsored by the Newport Harbor Chamber of Commerce, will be awarded trophies at a Jan. 19 dinner at the Hyatt Newporter.
Geoff and Carole Landon won the sweepstakes category, as they did in 1994.
Koussay Okko took first prize for traditional Christmas theme, and Mike Dunkley sailed away with first prize in the humor category.
The top honor for originality went to Kent Cowgur and Vicky Flood, and Sasco Electric placed first for lights display.
John and Lorenza Donahue won the spirit award, and Nicholas Costa took the music prize.
Balboa Power Squadron was judged the best first-time participant.
Winners were selected by two panels of six judges each.
