San Gabriel Valley : PUBLIC’S HELP SOUGHT
- Share via
Police announced that they are seeking help in locating the parents of a newborn baby found dead in a cardboard box behind a Monrovia office building.
A gardener who works at the building in the 800 block of West Foothill Boulevard told police he found the baby, apparently Anglo or Latino, when he went to work Monday, said Lt. Patrick Hardy.
The corner’s office has not yet determined the cause of death and no marks were found on the baby, but the case is being investigated as a homicide, Hardy said.
Police are not disclosing the baby’s gender because they hope to use the information during interviews with possible suspects. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Det. John Abbott at (818) 359-1152.
