Neighbor Says No Thanks to Tillman Water Supply
- Share via
So, the Donald C. Tillman Water Reclamation Plant, the city’s revenge on the citizens and assault on our noses, is now being proposed as a source of water for the San Fernando Valley and other areas (“The Water Cycle Gets Recycled,” Dec. 5).
I have lived across Victory Boulevard for many years and enjoyed the titillating experience of having asthma develop, as have some of my neighbors, and of smelling odors that seem almost explosive.
The Tillman plant has not demonstrated the competence to control the odors that emit from it. I would never trust it to provide water that in five years would come out of my faucet. I would not even want to bathe in it.
