Woman Pleads Not Guilty to Pandering

A woman accused of running a brothel out of a Camarillo massage parlor pleaded not guilty in Ventura County Superior Court Monday to three felony counts of pandering.
Claudine T. Eubank, 53, remains free on $20,000 bail. She was arrested after police raided the Le Papillon massage parlor last year. Investigators said they watched the storefront in a popular strip mall at 300 N. Lantana St. for several months after receiving anonymous tips complaining of a high volume of male traffic in and out of the store.
Investigators also contend that undercover male agents were propositioned for sexual favors and that an undercover female agent was approached for a prostitution job.
Two of Eubank’s former employers were granted immunity to testify at Eubank’s trial, which is scheduled for March 18.
