Luther Medical Products Inc.: The Tustin designer and manufacturer of intravenous catheter systems posted a net loss of $94,298, or 3 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, which included a gain of $122,958 from forgiveness of debt. That compares with a net loss of $180,410, or 6 cents a share, for the comparable quarter a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose 20%, to $856,296 from $712,047. In the first half, the company lost $304,925, or 10 cents a share, compared with a loss of $321,370, or 11 cents a share, for the like period a year earlier. Revenue increased 7%, to $1.5 million from $1.4 million.
