A photographer-artist who was co-creator of a nationally renowned exhibit in Laguna Beach in 1989 will hold an exhibit from March 4 to April 5 at Cypress College’s Photography Gallery and Library Gallery.
The showing will be by Mark Chamberlain, who owns the BC Space Gallery in Laguna Beach. Chamberlain in 1989 co-created a 600-foot “interactive photographic mural” in Laguna Canyon called “The Tell.”
That exhibit became the focus of a citizens’ effort to save part of the canyon from development, and national news media wrote about the exhibit and showed pictures of it.
At Cypress College, his free public exhibit featuring photographs and mixed media art works will be titled “Messages from The Tinman: Public Views on Private Property.”
