The L.L. Knickerbocker Co. Inc.: The Rancho Santa Margarita company reported that net income rose 50% for the first quarter to $322,706, or 2 cents a share, from $214,945, or 2 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue increased 68%, to $3.2 million, from $1.9 million. The company attributed the revenue growth primarily to continued brand recognition of its Marie Osmond dolls and the Annette Funicello bear line.
