Volunteers / Helping hands : Heart Association Honors Officers

Community volunteers Mary Bouas and Dean Olsen will be honored for their work with the Anaheim Division of the American Heart Assn. when the charity holds its “Your Heart’s in the Right Place” banquet May 31.
Bouas serves as a director of the Anaheim division and has supported various health, arts and civic causes since moving to Anaheim in 1948. Olsen, executive assistant to County Supervisor William G. Steiner, is a past president and current board member of the Anaheim division.
The fund-raising banquet, scheduled from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Anaheim Marriott, will feature silent and live auctions and entertainment. Proceeds will support the American Heart Assn.’s educational and research efforts.
