Woman, 89, Killed in Driveway

GLENDALE — An 89-year-old woman was killed Tuesday afternoon after she fell in the driveway of a parking garage and was run over by a car, police said.
Betha Davis was walking in the 100 block of West Broadway about 5:45 p.m. when she slipped or collapsed in the middle of a multistory parking structure’s driveway, police said. The driver of a car that was leaving the garage did not see the woman and struck her, police said.
Glendale firefighters took the woman by ambulance to County-USC Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead two hours after the accident.
