Naked Deputy Found Wandering in Courthouse

A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy at Glendale Municipal Court was hospitalized and undergoing a mental evaluation after he was found Wednesday wandering the halls naked, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
The deputy, whose name was not released, had been at the courthouse at 600 E. Broadway since the morning and was seen without his clothes about 4:45 p.m., said Sgt. Bob Stoneman.
“He became extremely ill and disoriented,” Stoneman said.
Firefighters took the man to a hospital, where he remains.
“He has been relieved of duty pending an evaluation,” Stoneman said.
