Edmonds, out since June 12 because of a sprained thumb, expects to be in the lineup tonight when the Angels play the Seattle Mariners at Anaheim Stadium.

“They better be ready for me,” Edmonds said.

The California League wasn’t. Edmonds hit .462 in four games with Class-A Lake Elsinore. He homered in Tuesday’s game against San Bernardino.
