All but one of the U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers will have the Michael Jordan look when they compete, thanks to team co-captain Dennis Hall.
Hall, winner at 125.5 pounds in last year’s World Championships, showed up for final training camp in Chattanooga, Tenn., looking like Mr. Clean.
“I didn’t like my hair,” he said. “It was too long. I went to K mart and bought clippers . . . and clipped off the sides. I liked it, so I took the razor and finished it.”
Other Greco-Roman wrestlers liked it, too, and chose to follow suit, except for 163-pounder Gordy Morgan, who feared his family’s reaction.
