Takawira Scores Twice for Wiz

Digital Takawira had two goals and an assist and Mark Chung also scored twice Sunday, leading the Kansas City Wiz to a 4-2 victory over D.C. United at Washington.

Chung opened the scoring in the 16th minute off a feed from Takawira and tied it, 2-2, in the 59th minute on an unassisted goal. Takawira scored the game-winner in the 66th minute and completed the scoring in the 78th minute.

Raul Diaz Arce and Mario Gori scored for United, which dropped to 9-13 before a crowd of 12,356 at RFK Stadium. Kansas City is 13-11.
