Technology Topic of Seminar for Career Musicians

“Live Where You Want and Work in L.A. or How Can I Make Money From This Call?,” a seminar by the Society of Composers & Lyricists, will be held Aug. 18 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Fox Television Studios, 5746 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood.
The seminar will focus on how musicians, producers, directors and other artists can live where they want and have a flourishing career with the use of modern technology. The Internet and ways to access it will be discussed.
Speakers will include Joan Van Tassel from USC’s Annenberg School of Communications as well as Internet specialist Byron Wagner.
