Re “Lawsuits Say Cruise Lines Go Overboard With Port Fees” (Travel Insider, July 28): Just as airlines do not tack on landing fees and hotels don’t add fees for trash removal, cruise lines should not add port charges as a surcharge. It is simply a part of the cost of doing business. If they feel that incorporating those costs in their fares, rather than showing them separately in small print, will adversely affect their business, so be it!
