Minor Quake Shakes South Los Angeles

A minor earthquake of magnitude 3.0 shook an area of South Los Angeles at 1:25 p.m. Monday, Caltech scientists reported.
The quake was centered seven miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles and two miles northeast of Inglewood. No damage was reported, and the fault on which the temblor occurred was not determined.
