Wiz Wins, Ties Galaxy for First

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Digital Takawira scored twice in the last nine minutes Thursday night, leading the Kansas City Wiz to a 4-1 victory over the San Jose Clash before 8,250 at Arrowhead Stadium.
Preki and Mo Johnston also scored for the Wiz (15-12), which moved into a tie for first place in the Western Conference with the Galaxy. Preki assisted on Takawira’s first goal.
John Doyle scored for San Jose (11-12) in the 78th minute on a header off a cross from Jorge Rodas.
