Linemates Sergei Fedorov and Alexander Mogilny each scored twice Saturday as Russia beat Slovakia, 7-4, in the World Cup at Montreal.
The Russians evened their record at 1-1 and will next play the U.S. team Monday night in New York.
Germany 7, Czech Republic 1--Jan Bendl scored two goals at Garmisch-Partenkirchen as Germany upset the Czech Republic, which featured Jaromir Jagr and 13 other NHL players.
