Jerusalem the Topic of Cal Lutheran Talk

Cal Lutheran University will host a free lecture and slide show exploring the communities of Jerusalem next Monday as part of its “Searching for Common Ground” series of presentations.
The lecture, “Heart of Stone: The Communities of Jerusalem,” will begin at 10:05 a.m. in the university’s Preus-Brandt Forum, 60 W. Olsen Road in Thousand Oaks. The presentation will be led by Richard Hecht, professor and chairman of the department of religious studies at UC Santa Barbara.
Hecht is coauthor with Richard Friedland of the book “To Rule Jerusalem,” the first installment of a three-volume work documenting the struggle over control of the city throughout this century.
