Poly is fifth-ranked in the Southern Section Division I. “They’re big, physical and fast,” Meek said. “We’re a little short-handed, but we will battle them.” Aztec running back Jamaal Footman will not play because of a separated shoulder. Linebacker Tony Calocion was ejected from last week’s 28-13 victory over Upland and has to sit out this week. Poly has won two in a row, rallying to defeat Pasadena Muir, 28-19, last week.
