With Teddy Riley at the helm, Blackstreet’s new album is a loose-jointed funk exercise that expands on the group’s burgeoning R&B; presence. Featuring some rap input from Dr. Dre and a coy sample of Bill Withers’ “Grandma’s Hands,” the group’s “No Diggity” is definitely one of this year’s most delectable dance releases. Elsewhere, “(Money Can’t) Buy Me Love,” a velvety, slow-jam refurbishing of the Beatles’ classic, shows true nerve and is thoroughly enjoyable.
