I really loved your Oct. 7 article, “MOCA Becomes Advocate for Disney Hall Construction,” and especially the support it gives for this vital new facility.

For the record, we would like to indicate that the Music Center is very supportive of Frank Gehry’s architecture. You suggested that the Music Center was not fully behind the exhibition of Gehry’s work. In fact, there are many people at the Music Center actively working to ensure the success of the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

We share the goal to see Walt Disney Concert Hall built. Not just for the Music Center, not just for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, not just for the downtown cultural community, but for all of Los Angeles to enjoy.
