Moorpark 21, Oak Park 14--Art Garcia rushed for 193 yards in 31 carries, including the clinching touchdown, to lead Moorpark (3-2). Garcia scored on a 33-yard run midway through the third quarter to put Moorpark ahead to stay.
Fullback Dan Wasserman rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown in eight carries for Oak Park (0-5). Wasserman also threw a 23-yard pass for a touchdown.
After allowing 14 second-quarter points, Moorpark’s defense held the Eagles (0-5) to 49 yards in the second half.
