Datum Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of precision frequency products and timing instruments posted third-quarter net income of $649,000, or 15 cents a share, up from the $140,000, or 3 cents a share, for the 1995 third quarter. Revenue advanced 32% to a record $24.5 million from $18.6 million. For the first nine months of 1996, net income rose 87% to $982,000, or 23 cents a share, from $525,000, or 14 cents a share, for the year-ago period. Revenue rose 42% to $64.4 million from $45.3 million. The results include the acquisition of Efratom, completed on March 17, 1995.
