Preschool Has Space for Special-Need Kids
- Share via
Space is still available for students at the Tri-Counties Easter Seal Society Preschool for developmentally disabled children.
The preschool, for children ages 2 1/2 through 6, offers a small, secure environment for students with special needs. It meets four times each week at the Tri-Counties Easter Seal Society main office at 10730 Henderson Road in Ventura.
The preschool helps students with developmental delays to acquire speech and language skills and offers occupational therapy to children individually and in small groups.
Parents also are encouraged to play a key role at the preschool by working directly with the staff and children, or helping to prepare learning materials and organize activities.
The cost of the preschool is $425 a month, and arrangements can be made with the society for those unable to afford the full cost of tuition.
