Sir Speedy Parent Acquires PIP Printing

Franchise Services Inc., the parent company of the Mission Viejo-based Sir Speedy quick-printing center chain, said it has acquired the Postal Instant Press Inc. chain for an undisclosed price. Agoura Hills-based Postal Instant Press, known as PIP Printing, operates 600 quick-printing centers in the U.S. Sir Speedy operates more than 800 units in the U.S. and 13 other countries. Combined revenue for the chains will exceed $700 million. Franchise Services acquired Postal Instant Press from Kane-Miller Inc. The two chains will keep their names and be operated independently, a Franchise Services spokesman said.
