Mater Dei has had some good running backs during Bruce Rollinson’s eight seasons as head coach. None, however, had as productive a game as McNair had Friday, when he rushed for 324 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-7 victory over Trabuco Hills. McNair, 6 feet 2, 220 pounds, scored on runs of 35, 77, two and 81 yards.

* La Habra, junior. Passed for 202 yards and four touchdowns, including three in fourth quarter of 34-33 victory over Sonora.
