TUSTIN — Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. said Monday that it has received clearance from the Food and Drug Administration to market its open MRI system, called Opart.
The open magnetic resonance imaging system, which provides access from all four sides, is designed to accommodate a variety of patients, including infants and those who are claustrophobic.
Toshiba America Medical markets, sells, distributes and services diagnostic imaging systems.
