Student Chosen for Scholarship Program

Hard work and hard play paid off for Orange High School student Lizette Nibut, an A+ student who is competing in the National Principal’s Leadership Award Scholarship Program this year.
She was nominated by Orange High Principal Robert Lewis to compete in the event, which is sponsored by the National Assn. of Secondary School Principals. If Nibut is among 150 national winners this spring, she will get a $1,000 college scholarship.
“Lizette is a wonderful young lady who contributes in numerous ways to our school and community,” Lewis said. “The list of her contributions and accomplishments is lengthy and admirable.”
