Leo E. Crawford has been named the county’s interim chief executive officer for information and technology.
The appointment was made by Jan Mittermeier, the county’s chief executive. Crawford has been a county employee for 10 years, the last two as information systems director.
Before joining the county, Crawford served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. His assignments included telecommunications, data processing and satellite tracking and control.
Crawford is the last of the five top aides named by Mittermeier. The other positions oversee finance, human resources, public affairs and strategic
affairs.
