‘True Women’ to BenefitLeague of Voters

CBS will screen its upcoming miniseries “True Women” as a benefit for the League of Women Voters, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in North Hollywood.
The miniseries, which airs on CBS on May 18 and 20, stars Dana Delany, Annabeth Gish and Angelina Jolie and is based on the best-selling book by Janice Woods Windle about the true adventures of women in her own family during the settling of the American frontier.
Tickets for the benefit screening are $20.
