HUNTINGTON BEACH — Police are asking for help locating a 45-year-old woman who has been missing since May 11.
Gail Marie Castro was last seen by relatives at her home on Whitney Drive. She has been diagnosed with a serious form of episodic schizophrenia and is dependent on medication, police said Tuesday. Detectives and Castro’s family members are particularly concerned about her disappearance because her condition deteriorates without the medication.
Castro is white, with hazel eyes and brown hair with frosted highlights. She is 5 feet 4, 110 pounds and wears round sunglasses and a baseball cap. Police said she is believed to have been in the Fullerton and La Habra areas recently.
Anyone with information regarding Castro or her whereabouts is asked to call the Huntington Beach Police Department at (714) 375-5066.
