SEASON AT A GLANCE: Fishman, plagued by a strained hamstring, struggled during the regular season but bore down during the playoffs. He was the winning pitcher in all four of the Conquistadores’ playoff victories to finish the season 8-5 with a 2.71 earned-run average and 81 strikeouts in 81 2/3 innings.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Fishman pitched 4 1/3 innings of relief in a 13-11 victory over Banning in the City Section 4-A Division final at Dodger Stadium. Fishman retired the first 10 batters he faced to help El Camino Real overcame a 9-5 deficit. He recorded the final out with runners at first and third. Fishman pitched five innings of relief in a 9-6 victory over Chatsworth in the semifinals.
