Is he kidding?
A direct quote from Randy Harvey: “We, the sporting press, go to the ballpark day after day in search of uplifting stories that will whisk you, the readers, away from grim front-page news of Mexican drug wars, Texas tornadoes and Frank and Kathie Lee.”
I read more about drugs in the sports section than on the front pages. If I must read gossip, I’d rather read about Frank and Kathie Lee than all the trash about Dennis Rodman.
Harvey may not know anything about sports or about sportswriting, but he should at least read the sports section before commenting on it.
