Be Yourself! (AMC Monday at 4 a.m.) With the advent of sound, singer-comedian Fanny Brice, immortalized in “Funny Girl,” made several talkies. This 1930 release, in which nightclub singer Brice falls for fighter Robert Armstrong (soon to be featured in “King Kong”), isn’t much, but it does give you a rare chance to see what Brice was like. It also features Gertrude Astor, a stalwart of the silent era, in one of her biggest roles in talking pictures as Brice’s glamorous nemesis.
