3 Men Are Sought on Felony Warrants

Investigators with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department are asking for help in locating three men wanted on outstanding felony warrants.

Investigators are searching for Jose Luis Almanza, 39, of Nyeland Acres for failing to report to his probation officer.

Almanza pleaded guilty to felony drunk driving and causing an accident that injured a man in Oxnard in 1992.

After pleading guilty to the charges, he was given probation. But once released from jail he fled the county, officials said.

Almanza, who goes by the nickname “Shorty” is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a scar on his right shoulder.

Anthony Spencer Navarro, 36, of Ventura had a warrant issued for his arrest after failing to appear at a scheduled court date.

Navarro, whose last known address was 350 S. Emma St. in Ventura, has five felony warrants for theft and grand theft charges.

He is described as about 6 feet tall and 185 pounds, with dark brown hair and eyes. He is believed to have moved to either Texas or Mexico.

William Reyes Galdamez, 23, is a suspect in two burglaries.

Galdamez, whose last known address was in Reseda, is described as about 5 feet, 2 inches and 125 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He may have recently shaved his head and is said to frequent El Pupuson Restaurante in Van Nuys, officials said. He also may be armed.

Investigators are encouraging anyone with information about the wanted men to call Ventura County Crime Stoppers’ hotline at 385-TALK or 494-TALK.

Tipsters may call anonymously and, if the information leads to an arrest and conviction, they could receive rewards of up to $1,000, officials said.
