The Tustin maker of automated mailing equipment posted a second-quarter loss Tuesday of $460,279, or 24 cents per share, compared with a loss of $535,724, or 27 cents a share, for the same period in 1996. Revenue for the second quarter rose slightly to $269,470 from $264,274.
For the first half, the company reported a loss of $416,688, or 21 cents a share, compared with a loss of $224,704, or 12 cents per share, a year earlier. Revenue for the first half dropped 23% to $1.3 million from $1.7 million.
Micro General’s thinly traded stock last sold a week ago in the over-the-counter market at $1.31 a share..
