Bullfrogs Open Roller Hockey Playoffs

The Anaheim Bullfrogs will open the Roller Hockey International playoffs against the Los Angeles Blades at 7:30 tonight at the Forum.

The Blades are winless in their last five games and the Bullfrogs have won seven in succession. The teams split their six-game regular-season series, the Bullfrogs scoring all three of their victories in shootouts.

The Bullfrogs (15-8-0) finished two points behind first place San Jose (15-7-2) in the Western Conference. The Blades (11-8-5) were third. St. Louis (12-10-2) finished fourth.

The second game of the series will be at the Pond of Anaheim next Monday at 7:30. If the series is tied after that, a 12-minute game will be played immediately to determine which team advances to the Western Conference final against San Jose or St. Louis.
