Re “Full-Time Moms a Minority Now, Census Bureau Finds,” Nov. 26: I realize that this article is about mothers and their choice to return to work or stay at home. Yet who talks about the children and their needs? Infants are profoundly immature and need constant, loving and dedicated care. A loving mother is uniquely qualified to provide her infant optimal full-time care that will help to ensure healthy human development. The simplicity of this fact is just too complex for today’s parents to acknowledge.
