Volleyball/Outside Hitter
Marquis, from Santa Cruz, became the first player in the 21-year history of the state tournament to win the most valuable player award twice. She had 10 kills in the final match and 36 overall for Golden West, which has won five consecutive state titles. Marquis, who is being recruited by Long Beach State and UC Santa Barbara, had 10 kills, as Golden West beat El Camino in three games in the title match.

* Orange Coast, sophomore. Had 88 points, 23 rebounds and 13 assists as the Pirates won the Cuesta tournament.
