Library Plan May Get Consultant’s Input
The City Council on Monday will consider hiring a consultant to help assess the community’s library needs as a first step to formulating a 15-year expansion plan.
Under the plan, the city would provide residents with opportunities to identify the library services they want, Assistant City Manager Christine Shingleton said.
The city would then form a 15-year plan, which could include expanding city branches or the addition of others.
The council meets at 7 p.m. at 300 Centennial Way.
