Molestation charges have been filed in Los Angeles Municipal Court against a high school math teacher accused of luring girls into “photographic sessions” while posing as a video producer for Death Row Records, a prosecutor said Thursday.
Samuel Morris, who taught at Manual Arts High School until a recent suspension, is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 26 on a four-count misdemeanor complaint that was filed Wednesday, said Deputy City Atty. Deborah Sanchez.
Morris, 41, of Los Angeles, faces three counts of child molestation and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, the prosecutor said. An investigation by the LAPD’s Sexually Exploited Child Unit was triggered by a complaint lodged April 10 by two female students at Manual Arts.
