Club Is Honored for Work With Youth

The Exchange Club of La Habra has been honored by the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center for its efforts to improve the lives of neglected and abused children.
The club raises funds that are used to combat child abuse and teenage pregnancy in North County. It particularly focuses on young parents in La Habra, Fullerton and Buena Park.
One of the club’s programs matches teen parents with volunteers who teach parenting skills and child development.
Sessions are Wednesdays at 7:10 p.m. at La Habra Bowl, Whittier Boulevard and Cypress Street.
