Organizers Change County Fair Dates

The 1998 Ventura County Fair will be held one week earlier than usual, from Aug. 5 to 16, according to the Seaside Park Board of Directors.
The fair dates were changed to accommodate earlier school schedules. The new fair dates will also allow the Best of Show winners to exhibit at the California State Fair that same year, rather than waiting a year, as they had to in the past.
