IRVINE — Chiron Diagnostics Corp. has agreed to sell its manufacturing facility in Irvine to Bio-Rad Laboratories of Hercules, Calif.
The facility makes and distributes clinical laboratory quality controls products, Bio-Rad said, adding that the transaction does not include Chiron Diagnostics’ Blood Gas Controls. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Bio-Rad Laboratories makes medical test products and analytical instruments.
