Woodbridge Coach George Varvas has been pleasantly surprised by Moore’s early-season surge. Moore finished the three-mile course in 18 minutes to lead the Warriors to a second-place team finish in the Division I race Saturday at the Woodbridge Invitational. “She worked hard over the summer and it’s paying off,” Varvas said.
