Titans Complete Sweep of Pacific

Greg Jacobs gave Cal State Fullerton’s baseball team the offense it needed, as well as a strong game on the mound, to lead the Titans to a 15-1 rout of host Pacific in a Big West Conference game Sunday.
Jacobs gave up three hits, one walk and one earned run in six innings. He also struck out nine for the Titans (26-11, 12-3 in the Big West). Jacobs was three for three with three runs scored.
The Titans, who swept the series, capitalized on four wild pitches and two errors, taking an 8-0 lead with a six-run fourth inning.
Pacific is 18-12, 6-9.
