Exchange Program Needs Host Families

Host families from North County are needed to house exchange students from France, who will stay in the country from July 8 through July 29.
The students, ages 13 to 17, have studied English, but are seeking a better understanding of the language and culture of the United States.
They will also take daily English classes at the North Orange County Community College Continuing Education Center in Yorba Linda. Host families will be invited on field trips to Universal Studios and the new Getty Museum.
“There are so many benefits to hosting, including learning about another culture and starting up a long-term friendship with students and families overseas,” said Lorrie Farrelly, program coordinator.
