Marquee Group to Buy Tollin/Robbins Company

The Marquee Group, a New York-based sports marketing and management firm, has announced plans to acquired Tollin/Robbins Production and Management of North Hollywood for $22 million in cash.
The new company, Tollin/Robbins Entertainment, will be based in North Hollywood.
Tollin/Robbins, an independent film and TV production company, is behind such programs as HBO’s “Arli$$” and Nickelodeon’s “Kenan and Kel” and “All That.”
Marquee, which provides production and promotion services for major sporting events, views the Valley-based company as “a driving force behind our growth in the entertainment field.”
